Family Room check-in kiosk

UNC Ronald McDonald House Family Room, 2026

Before they head into the Family Room, visitors answer three quick questions on a kiosk, in English or Spanish. Their answers are anonymous, and the kiosk never asks for a name.

Staff sign in to a separate dashboard to edit questions, see results, look through each visit, and download everything to Excel for reports and audits.

Live donation tracker

Built for a USEF Pony Finals fundraiser, this site counted gifts toward a goal of 101 donations for Danny & Ron's Rescue. A live tracker on the homepage showed the running count against the goal, so visitors could watch it climb.

The donate flow walked visitors through three steps: enter your name and email for a raffle entry, give any amount on Danny & Ron's Rescue's own donation page, and watch the tracker move one step closer to 101.

Nexus

Nexus Rural Health, North Carolina, 2026

Nexus Rural Health works with EMS agencies, clinicians, and patients across North Carolina. They needed a website that explains what they do plainly enough for all three.

The site walks visitors through MedQR, their medical record tool, with a demo they can watch: a patient's note in plain language becomes a structured record, sealed behind a QR code. Small animations show how the pieces connect, and the statistics on the page are real figures about rural health.

The part Nexus liked most is the "Get started with us" form at the bottom of the page. Clinicians and health organizations anywhere in the state can reach them in a minute.
