AI has changed who gets to build software. A small company can now have its own internal tools, like check-in systems, dashboards, and trackers, built around exactly how it works, in a fraction of the time it used to take.

Most nonprofits do not have a developer on staff or the budget to hire one. So the work still happens on paper, in spreadsheets, or in software made for someone else. We do not want the organizations doing the most good for their communities to be the ones left behind.

There is a gap between the people who know what needs to be built and the people who can build it. Nonprofits know exactly what would help. University developers are hungry for real problems to work on and real people to build for.
