Meet the team

ImpactOS NC is led by Ayden, Alex, and Pb.

Ayden Hall

I'm Ayden, a math and business major at UNC. I love engineering of every kind, along with ethics. I've worked on the hardware team at a startup, where I saw up close how strong engineering teams move fast and solve problems. Moving fast only matters if you're building the right thing, and I think the best way to build that kind of judgment is to spend real time with art, whether that's film, music, painting, or books. I've volunteered for most of my life, and I am drawn to ImpactOS NC because it lets me keep showing up for the people working to make their communities better.

Alex Caza

I'm Alex, a computer science and economics major at UNC. I like hard problems, especially ones where the solution routinely shows up in someone’s daily life. I've managed databases for one of the leading global producers of aircraft engines, as well as done extensive research in fluid dynamics. I am drawn to ImpactOS NC because I like the idea of helping others help others.

Headshot of Pb Nigam

Pb Nigam

I'm Prbhuv, but I go by Pb. I'm studying neuroscience at Carolina on the pre-med track, with a research background in molecular workflows and machine learning for the life sciences. I care about turning that work into tools that help more people, and I'm currently a co-founder of a rural health nonprofit building connective technology for rural communities. What draws me to ImpactOS NC is working directly with communities across North Carolina, hard conversations included, because I believe human connection exists everywhere. We just have to find it.
